Volunteer Requirements

Roseville PONY Baseball is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization and we rely on volunteers to ensure our youth baseball organization runs as smoothly as possible while offering our community a very appealing cost to participate.  To ensure the league operates most efficiently, all families will need to commit to volunteering to hours set forth below.

Each family will be responsible for fulfilling the designated volunteer service per registered player(s) as follows - 1 player = 3 hours, 2+ players = max of 6 hours. You can sign up for volunteer oppurtunities here. Sign Up Here. You can also read the Sign Up Instructions.

Prior to the uniforms being available to the players for the 2024 Spring Season, every family will be required to submit a check in the amount of $100.00 for 1 player or $150.00 should a family register 2 or more players.  Players will NOT be given their uniform till the check has been submitted to the Director of Uniforms.  Furthermore, the Director of Uniforms will retain your check until your volunteer hours described above are completed and then it will be returned.

There is also an optional volunteer buyout fee which entails paying $110.00 for the first player and an additional $60.00 for sibling(s) up to a max of $170.00.  The buyout can be submitted through TeamSideline by adding the “buyout” option below or by submitting a check to the Director of Uniforms.

Volunteer hours can be fulfilled through the following: Registered volunteers such as Managers/Coaches, Team Parents, Scorekeeping, Field Set up, Snack Bar shifts or any extra event RPB may put on and need assistance.  Another option is becoming a board member or continuing your existing board member service.

Should any family member not fulfill the required volunteer commitment by the end of the season, checks will be cashed.
