Coaching FAQs

Why do I need to enroll and complete the coaching application?

The enrollment process adds your name as a potential manager or coach to RPB's registration system. Our registrar can only assign you to your team if you exist as an enrolled volunteer for the current program.

The coaching application provides our League Player Agent (LPA) an opportunity to evaluate all interested parents who would like to manage or coach. Completing the coaching application does not make your name available for team assignment.

Do "assistant" coaches need to complete both volunteer enrollment and coaching application?

Yes, all interested coaches need to complete both. Like managers, "assistant" coaches cannot be assigned to a team by our registrar unless the coach has enrolled as a volunteer using the current registration form.

What is a program?

A program, or baseball program, are the offerings made available by RPB including spring season, fall ball, and RailCats teams.
