Roseville Youth Sports Coalition Annual Scholarship Program

The Roseville Youth Sports Coalition (YSC) is a unique partnership between local independent youth sports providers and the City of Roseville.  The youth sports partners provide athletic activities, opportunities and competition for participants; the City provides game and practice fields for the partners.

Each YSC member organization will select an athlete(s), through their own scholarship process, who is/has participated in the league to receive a $500 YSC Scholarship.

Each YSC organization will then select an athlete to be submitted to the YSC for review and scholarship award approval.

Jr. Umpire Clinic

Sunday February, 26th 11am-12:30pm

Location Mahan Park

For the past few years, Roseville Pony Baseball has offered a Jr. Umpire Program for our 2nd year Mustang players and up. This is an opportunity for the players to have a better understanding of the rules of the game, as well as an opportunity to earn some money.

There are 2 umpire positions that the players will learn, the field umpire and the home plate umpire. Second year Mustang players are only eligible to be Field Umpires in Pinto. First year Bronco players who participated in the program in the past will have the opportunity to work behind the plate.

There is no gear to buy for the players. RPB provides all the equipment in our Storage Sheds.  We request that all players wear their new practice shirts they will be receiving this season while on the field.

For an application click here.

For questions e-mail Jeff at umpires@rosevilleponybaseball.com

Get your spirit wear before the season starts!  You can order a number of different items (shirts, hats, sweatshirts) at our web store hosted by Premier Graph-x.  The web store can be accessed @ rosevillepony.shopgraphx.com
